Last night D read the Christmas Story to the kids (Luke 2:1-19 NAS). They sat so still and did a great job of listening. I'm hoping to help them to really understand what is the true meaning of Christmas. Daniel made a paper chain at school to count down the number of days until Christmas, plus we have an advent calendar that gives us a different verse to read each day.

Christmas Reading - Day 2

That is a very cute idea (to read all the different Christmas stories), including the most important one of all. I'm interested to see what all you read. I'll have to remember this when I have children of my own.
